Beaches

We are spoilt for sandy beaches with two in Swanage, including the main 'Blue Flag' beach; Studland beach (National Trust); Sandbanks; Poole Harbour and Bournemouth beaches.

There are beautiful places to swim if you're brave off Winspit and Seacombe.  You can also swim off the local foreshore and Buck's Beach but please remember the tides and strong currents.

Water Sports

There's great kayaking, sailing and motor boating are in the Bay.  Jet skiing, sea fishing, scuba diving and water skiing are available at Pier Head Water Sports.

If it's kiteboarding or windsurfing you're after, try the Watersports Academy in Poole Harbour.  For the daring, Coaststeering is organised locally.
