The Dorset coastline has wonderful beaches and are still a draw for many families enjoying their holidays.

There are plenty of opportunities to get out on the water straight from the Cottage.

Walk & Bike

With the Cottage being on the edge of the heritage status Jurassic Coastline and National Trust protected areas, you will be spoilt for local walks to discover.  The South West Coastal Path is 20 metres from the door. 

Town & Sightseeing

Swanage is a historic seaside town and there are plenty of shops to browse in and places to pick up supplies.

The Isle of Purbeck and the county of Dorset are packed with historic houses, interesting monuments and places of natural beauty to enjoy.

Eat & Drink

There is good local food to be found in Swanage and more widely across the Isle of Purbeck.  Some of the best seafood can be bought directly from Swanage fishermen.
