Accommodation

Whilst we are continually re-decorating, have upgraded the night storage system, installed double glazing and new kitchen, some of the furniture and fittings are simple & non-matching….but comfortable!  However we are making steady progress to bring the whole Cottage into the 21st century.  The Cottage has 4 bedrooms and 4 downstairs rooms.

1 double bed, hand basin, double aspect with sea views to Old Harry Rocks and Peveril Point Ledges.

1 single bed, hand basin, sea views to Peveril Point Ledges.

2 single beds that can be joined together, hand basin, double aspect views to Peveril Point Ledges and the Downs.

2 large singles, hand basin, 2 bunk beds, ‘put-up Z bed’, double aspect views of the Downs and across Swanage Bay/Old Harry.

New corner sofa, large bay window with garden and sea view over Swanage Bay and Old Harry Rocks, 32inch TV and DVD. 

Our downstairs bathroom has a bath, instant-heat power shower, hand basin, clothes airer and heated towel rail.

Garden

Smallish and secure front garden, with Purbeck stone-surround sun terrace, privet hedging around grassed area.  Perfect for shelter when it's blowing an easterly!

Newly landscaped back garden, with large terrace with panoramic views to Swanage Bay and Old Harry – great for BBQs. Wooden picnic table, wooden bench and garden chairs.

Free-standing small Weber charcoal barbecue. Washing line.

Garage, full of old boating equipment & garden bits for Family use only.

Other

WiFi, unlimited broadband and internet enabled TV. 

Two WCs, one upstairs and a rather draughty one downstairs.

Dogs welcome - downstairs only please and not on sofas!

Strictly no smoking.

On-street parking outside Cottage (parking permits provided from 1st May to 30th Sept). 

Cleaning - This is included and organised at the end of your stay. 

Linen: we provide sufficient pillows and duvets for you at the Cottage, as follows:
Bay Room - King sized Duvet
Back Bedroom - This is two twin beds that are usually pushed together.  Both a King sized duvet and 2 x Single duvets are provided - your choice!
Dormitory - 4 x single duvets
Side Bedroom - 1 x Single Duvet

But you will need to bring pillow cases, duvet covers, bottom sheets and bath towels.  If using the Back Bedroom as a double bed, please bring King-sized flat sheet.

Whilst we have emergency tea towels, hand towel & bathmats, please do bring your own.

We've been working hard to improve the Cottage for all our visitors - but it's a long process, so any feedback on things that are good or bad would be really helpful!
